We offer a wide variety of opportunities, from individual active programmes to enhanced membership packages. We empower schools to provide the best possible physical and personal development outcomes for all pupils.
Our packages and programmes have been developed for young people to learn life skills, foster a lasting love of sporting activity and support their physical literacy.
A word from our Chair
Having seen first-hand the incredible work and impact of the competitions and events taking place, I am continually inspired by the dedication and passion shown across the LSSP community. LSSP work tirelessly to keep things as cost-effective as possible for schools, whilst collaborating with partners and wider stakeholders to generate additional resources and opportunities for Liverpool schools.
Physical activity and sports participation play a vital role in helping young people develop essential life skills such as resilience, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and leadership – qualities that will support them throughout their lives.
Encouraging healthy habits from an early age is crucial. Research shows that young people who engage in physical activity and sports are eight times more likely to remain active at the age of 24 compared to those who don’t participate.
Through a wide range of services focused on delivering high-quality PE, sport, and physical activity experiences, we provide opportunities for young people to participate at a level where they feel confident and comfortable.
Our passionate, experienced and qualified practitioners work in partnership with schools to encourage, inspire and motivate young people to participate and, most importantly, enjoy physical activity.
Our board is committed to ensuring decisions are made to benefit young people across Liverpool and ultimately, support their physical and mental health.
