Sports Horizons is a small family run business based in the North West of England. We strive to provide the best experience for your staff and students on our tailor made activity packages to L’Estartit, Costa Brava, Spain. Activities include: Kayaking, snorkelling, mountain biking, waterpark, inflatable’s and Robinson Cruise & Trek
Our staff are experienced teachers who have over 40 Years’ experience in organising and leading multi-sport activity holidays at home and abroad, from skiing, water sports, trekking and mountain biking. We understand how important it is to ensure every aspect of your trip is planned right down to the smallest of details.
Diane is still a serving teacher at Dixons Fazakerley Academy Liverpool, here she is Head of Physical Education, and has served the community for 25 Years.
‘Our 1st primary trip’
We are liaising with LSSP to provide primary schools with an opportunity to enrol on the
‘Liverpool Primary Schools Mediterranean Adventure’.
The ratios for staff and pupils will be 1:10. Each school will be required to have a minimum number of 10 pupils. Each accommodation will sleep 6, these will be single sex.
Safety and Security -Access to the holiday complex is via a gated, security-checked area, which has presence 24 hours a day. Only those wearing the required wristband are permitted entry into the complex
Amenities and Activities on Site -Three superb pools, one with waterslides • Excellent sports facilities, • Farm.
Inclusive Resort Activities -Specialist instructors deliver our activities from a local provider MEDAQUA. Five Activities are included as standard in our package.
To make the organisation of the trip as smooth as possible, Sports Horizons will work closely with participating staff to complete all ‘Evolve’ documentation, arrange parents meetings and provide information packs for pupils and parents. You will only need to ‘read, sign and date’.
Once you have selected your pupils, families will complete the Microsoft forms link, which will have all of the necessary information required for the safe running of all trips, eg Data collection-passport, personal information, consent for photographs, dietary requirements. This will reduce workload for all schools involved. We really will take care of everything!
If your school subscribe to LSSP you will get a discount of 10%. We are also offering a further ‘early bird’ discount if a trip is booked by February 2024 for a June or July 2024 departure.
